About This Project

Advisory for MinersINC  –  a blockchain out of India that enables an entertainment infrastructure that aims at tokenizing creations and introducing a universal entertainment currency. They aim to build a parallel economy for content sharing and distribution by keeping the creators and consumers at the heart of it. The challenges minersinc aims to address include high distribution costs – 50% of movies made cannot afford to find exhibition in theatres as well as a lack of integrated ecosystems unexplored segments that coexist within the film industry like movie inspired animations, merchandise and more remain unmonetized. Capital inefficiency 80% of capital employed is burnt due to oligopolistic distribution and a non-transparent system.  There is no visibility on the theatre walkins along with massive under reporting of revenue collection and royalty payments.  Piracy is a $2700mn market, 135% of official film industry revenue estimates and absence of fair reviews insight system the huge data generated around films is not aggregated by any platform to facilitate intelligent content curation and is a lost business opportunity. MinersINC is backed by Indian Bollywood legend Anurag Kashyap – a director, writer, editor, producer and actor known for his works in Hindi cinema. He is the recipient of several accolades, including a National Film Award, and four Filmfare Awards.
